This page is for reflection on something important which can help you and the therapist to build a good relationship between you both...
1. Reflecting is always a good thing to do before you book an appointment. Please remember that waste of other peoples time is a sign of lack of consideration and respect; for the therapist and also yourself. Why would you arrange something nice for yourself and then deprive yourself of it? Surely this is a form of self-punishment which requires another type of therapy?
2. Many hours of Professional time is lost each week by clients who fail to turn up for their appointments when a simple text or phone call could allow the therapist to arrange another appointment for someone who really needs it. Without a text or call this time is lost forever and could have helped to turn around somebody's life at a time when they needed it most.
3. Maybe you need contact with someone else? That feeling of connection which is missing from so many lives? When you make an appointment you are also making a commitment to yourself to take action which you feel will improve your feelings about yourself, so don't let yourself down by not seeing it through (unless there are real reasons for not attending - and only you can know what is true and what is not true). So be true to yourself and make a decision to be truthful to others by keeping your word and letting them know, with respect, when your feelings or circumstances change.
4. If you change your mind that is fine.... just keep others in the loop too. By treating others with respect you will retain your own self belief and esteem and the door will always be open for you to return when the time is right. Nobody minds if plans are changed - as long as you are honest and respectful about it - which means considering someone else's feelings and being a little less selfish. If you practise being less selfish you will find it will benefit you in many other areas of your life too. So remember - if you are not sure about seriously having an appointment please DON'T book it.
If would like to book an appointment more than two days in advance a deposit of 25% will be required to confirm your request. If I have to cancel then you will receive a full refund but if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment then your deposit will not be refunded.
When is a massage NOT a massage?
When it focuses on base sexuality instead of improving the clients energy with unconditional Love.
All of the Therapies at KALMA are designed to enhance the inherent natural energy of the body so that it works in harmony with itself and Universal which Love flows clearly without blockages through the main natural Chakra points of the body and links us all to the Spiritual Realms.
In doing this the alignment between the mind, body and spirit is also improved and a joyful feeling of relaxation, union, peace and calmness returns. It is this sense of 'Oneness' which is the aim of so many Meditative practices and many therapies seek to restore this natural balance in the individual which can become blocked by traumas and experiences throughout life and lead us to be fixated by material possessions, or instant fixes like drugs, sex, food and other potential addictions.
This process leaves one feeling empty and unloved which is exactly the opposite to the effect that KALMA therapies are designed to create. So please don't ask for 'Extras'
Giovanna does her own Kalmatherapies by following her instincts for each client which leads her to the Universal energy source where we are all connected. The massage is sensual but only for increasing the energy which begins from the root chakra and rises up towards the pineal gland which is the door that connects the extension of our physical energy with the spirit realm, so focusing on the lingham just concentrates the energy at the base chakra and prevents it rising and generating the wonderful feeling of loving oneself with unconditional love.
Many people are trapped in the addictive nature of physical sex which prevents their energy to enable them to become the best possible version of themselves with a feeling of awareness and contentment that will assist them in all aspects of their life.
Here at Kalmatherapies we use all natural ingredients including purifying sea salts, and essential oils mixed with natural herbs and dried flowers.
These can all be enjoyed by clients during the Bath Ritual Massage along with filtered water which is poured over the body and head several times during the ritual. The bath water has added sea salt for additional purification of the body and the dried herbs and petals enhance both the aromatic and physical sensations that can be enjoyed throughout this beautiful ritual.
Candles create the kind of ambient, calm atmosphere for effective massage therapy to take place and crystals work when they are positioned above key Chakras of the body by resonating with the sounds within the Kalmatherapies treatment room including the vibrations of the singing bowl, wind chimes and gong which are played to align the personal energy of the body with the subtle resonances of the Earth's magnetic fields and in turn, with the other Planets in this wonderful Universe of ours.
